The NSW government is providing various incentives to first home buyers who might be purchasing vacant land or buying/building a new home.
Briefly, first home buyers purchasing a vacant block of residential land to build their home on do not pay stamp duty on vacant land up to $350,000. This summary does not include all the conditions for eligibility for a grant. You must check with the Office of State Revenue to see if you are eligible.
